| August 25, 2008 | | Canon Powershot cameras with bent CF card pins cause CF card read failure. | Canon Powershot cameras that cannot read the memory card may have bent CF card pins from incorrect installation of the CF memory card. Inspection of the card slot may show bent pins or in some cases, the pins get pushed straight back into the camera and make contact with metal parts of the card holder assembly. In some rare cases, the card holder circuit fails and will not read the memory card. Please supply a copy of sales slip for all warranty claims and estimates will be provided for post warranty repairs.
